SERVICE DESIGN AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Serving 96 companies, managing more than 20,200 consultancy hours, and 8 in-house design, R & D projects over a 5 year period. The CTDI is a non profit ONG dedicated to promoting design and innovation as key-elements for business competitiveness. As an intermediary (HUB), it provides consultancy, management, and tools to identify gaps in companies regarding design, innovation and technology; These are matched to the ideal consultants and/or centers of expertise (Universities and intermediate) that provided the necessary assistance and value services for project implementations. The CTDI is a spinoff from the Venezuelan Chamber of Industry (CONINDUSTRIA). I was responsible for the co-ideation and development of the institution as well as of various executed projects, such as: -CTDI’s “Master Plan”, with participation of IAT Instituto Andaluz de Tecnología, Seville, Spain and Venezuela in alliance with Universities and Industry Chambers; Funding obtained from the EECC through the ALINVEST III Consortium: - Study of the demand for services - Study of available services - Definition of the center's management model - Strategic planning -Feasibility study - Methodologies for the diagnostic on the state of Innovation, technology and design management and its use by enterprise (particularly SME’s) - Preliminary studies for the development of the Technology, Design and Innovation "Showcase” Centre - Methodology for replacement of imported parts for locally produced ones, in national manufacturing industry - Plastics Sector Manufacturing-Business’ Technology Update -Strengthening the competitiveness of the graphic arts’ industrial. - Information management systems in geographically dispersed value chains. - Methodology for improving the management of highly qualified human resources in Technology-Based Business.
